Ultimate Self-Healing Film

Constructed from a combination of advanced elastomeric polymers, XPEL ULTIMATE PLUS special clear coat not only prevents the film from discoloring due to contamination and ultra-violet radiation but also heals itself from swirl marks and light scratches that can occur through ordinary washing and drying or daily driving.

Contaminants like bug splatter, bird droppings, sap, and road tar wipe off XPEL ULTIMATE PLUS super-slick surface with a cloth, while scuffs and light scratches in the surface of the film disappear within minutes in the heat of the sun or the warmth of your garage—leaving your car pristine and the protective film like new.

And this level of protection comes without compromise. The mirror smooth finish of XPEL ULTIMATE PLUS ensures that no unwanted texture, commonly referred to as “orange-peel,” is added to the appearance of your car, leaving the protected surface indistinguishable from the factory paint. Professional installation by one of our network of factory trained installers ensures exact alignment around surface features such as air inlets, parking sensors, headlamp washers, and other design elements, while the film along the perimeter of each panel is wrapped around the edges for a truly invisible barrier against the hazards awaiting you on the road.

Even the film’s adhesive is superior. The enhanced workability of XPEL’s adhesive allows the film to be contoured around the most complex surfaces without distortion—which means you show off a perfect finish, not seams, wrinkles, and ripples. XPEL ULTIMATE PLUS also comes with a full 10-year warranty against yellowing, discoloration, peeling, cracking and hazing. If it fails, we’ll replace it—labor included You drive one of the finest cars in the world. Protect it with finest paint protection film available on the market.

  1. The Mark Twain House and Museum: In 1873 Sam and Olivia Clemens engaged New York architect Edward Tuckerman Potter to design their Hartford Home. Construction began in August of that year‚ while Sam and Livy were abroad. Although there was still much finish work to be completed‚ the family moved into their house on September 19‚ 1874. Construction delays and the ever-increasing costs of building their dream home frustrated Sam. Their home measures 11‚500 square feet‚ and has 25 rooms distributed through three floors. It displayed the latest in modern innovations when it was built in 1874. The couple spent $40‚000 to $45‚000 building their new home‚ so once they moved in they kept the interior simple. Mark Twain and his family enjoyed what the author would later call the happiest and most productive years of his life in their Hartford home.
  2. Connecticut Science Center: With more than 165 hands-on exhibits, a state-of-the-art 3D digital theater, four educational labs, plus daily programs and events, the Connecticut Science Center offers endless exploration for children, teens, and adults. The Science Center offers exciting tools to help educators and parents bring textbooks to life. Creating unforgettable experiences with science motivates students and visitors of all ages to enthusiastically embrace science at school, at home, and in their communities. With an attraction of this magnitude, exhibits rivaling the most unique in the world, programs with the potential to become national models, partnerships with a range of educational organizations, and involvement from global business leaders and benefactors, the Science Center is Connecticut’s premier destination for informal science learning, and is well on its way to becoming the state’s foremost Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) resource.
  3. Bushnell Park Carousel: Like all city parks, Bushnell Park is open from dawn-dusk, but has frequent special events in the evening. There is metered parking available along the perimeter of the park. You must pay at the kiosks for parking Monday-Friday from 8am-6pm. All other times, parking is free, including weekends. Additionally, there are surface lots and parking garages close by. Here is a great map of all of them, courtesy of our friends at hartford.com.
  4. Elizabeth Park Conservancy:Elizabeth Park is one of the most photographed places in Connecticut. Rarely a day goes by without “park paparazzi” snapping away. The captivating rose garden arches in full bloom are clearly the darling of the photographers. With our historic structures, gardens, and flowers, photographers never run out of subject matter. Photography of the surrounding gardens during your visit is encouraged and we invite you to share your images with us on our Facebook page. According to the Connecticut Tourism Office:

“Hartford is one of America’s oldest and most historic cities. It offers 17 diverse neighborhoods that provide housing opportunities for all individuals and families. From high-rise downtown luxury apartments and condos to single family starter homes in north and south end neighborhoods. If you want to live in a city, enjoy all that Hartford has to offer, and be a part this community, you have come to the right place.

Hartford is the Capitol city and home to some of the largest corporations in Connecticut that provide over 65,000 jobs right here in Hartford. As the seat of state government and as an employment center, Hartford is a great place to live, work, and play if you want to be close to work and close to home. Hartford is the center of the Capitol Regions arts and entertainment. Hosting hundreds of events each year, and the home of dozens of restaurants, bars, clubs, theaters, museums, and other attractions, Hartford is the place to be.

Most importantly, Hartford provides the widest range of housing options and housing values of any community in the Capitol Region. You may want a historic Victorian home in the West End or a converted factory loft apartment in Parkville. Or you prefer a luxury downtown apartment with a view or a starter home in Blue Hills. Townhouses in South Downtown or Frog Hollow appeal to just as many residents as two and three family homes in the Southend.

Come join us, the 125,000 proud residents of Hartford.”
